Brucker Plastic Surgery is looking forward to welcoming you back safely. We are taking added precautionary measures and are dedicated to providing and maintaining a safe, sterile environment for our patients and staff. To this end, we have increased our cleaning and sterilization protocols in compliance with the CDC and the World Health Organization.

When it comes time for your next appointment, for the protection of our patients and staff, we kindly ask that you:

WEAR A MASK. You are required to wear a mask anywhere in the City of San Diego and anywhere on Scripps Hospital grounds, including our parking garage and office.

NO WALK-IN APPOINTMENTS OR UNEXPECTED GUESTS. Everyone who enters our office must have an appointment. We are spacing out appointments to ensure that there will be little to no contact between patients.

DON’T BRING VISITORS. We ask you to come by yourself. Please have family and friends wait for you in the car except in rare circumstances for medically necessary assistance. Please notify us in advance if you need someone to come with you for medical assistance. Please do not bring children.

COMPLETE PAPERWORK ONLINE PRIOR TO COMING IN. Online registration and consent forms will be emailed before your appointment and should be completed prior to your arrival to minimize time spent in the office.

WASH YOUR HANDS. Upon arrival in our office, please wash your hands or use the hand sanitizer available in our waiting room.

USE CONTACTLESS PAYMENT. Contactless payment is encouraged (tap cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay). We will no longer be accepting cash payments.

STAY HOME IF YOU ARE ILL OR IF SOMEONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD IS ILL. If you or anyone in your home are experiencing any symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of illness, please call to reschedule your appointment.
What You Can Expect from Us:

DISINFECTANT CLEANING. We will continue with thorough disinfection of exam rooms between patients along with frequent disinfecting of common areas and frequently-touched surfaces. The measures we are taking include the use of HEPA-filter air purifiers filtering to 0.1 microns, and potentially adding H202 dry fogging disinfectant for complete sterility.

PATIENT SCREENING. We will screen all patients with Covid-19 screening questions and a temperature check.

STAFF SCREENING. All staff are screened daily for Covid-19 symptoms. Anyone exhibiting symptoms or has been in close contact with an individual with symptoms will be quarantined in accordance with government guidelines prior to returning to work.

WEARING MASKS. Our staff will wear masks at all times.

ENFORCING SOCIAL DISTANCING. We will limit the number of people in the waiting room and if there is more than one person in the waiting room we will kindly ask that you maintain distance.

OTHER. We have installed sneeze guards and have made a contactless payment option available for those who want to use it.

We will modify our procedures as conditions change during these difficult times but rest assured that we will always on the side of caution.

If you have any questions or would like to make an appointment as we reopen, please call (858) 450-1776 or email info@drbrucker.com.

We take very seriously the trust you have placed in our practice and look forward to seeing you again soon.
Sincerely,

Michael J. Brucker, MD, FACS
